Maze Studio is a tool. Every maze, book interior, and cover you make with it belongs to you, with no royalties, no watermark, and no Maze Studio branding attached.

Maze Studio is your studio. The puzzles you make with it are yours. Sell them on Amazon KDP, Etsy, Gumroad, Teachers Pay Teachers, your own store, or anywhere else, with no royalties, no watermark, and no Tangent branding required.

What you can do

  • Create unlimited mazes, puzzle books, and covers for personal projects, classroom use, client work, or your own business.
  • Sell what you create on any platform you choose, including Amazon KDP, Etsy, Gumroad, Teachers Pay Teachers, your own storefront, or anywhere readers can pay you.
  • Keep one hundred percent of what you earn. Tangent takes no royalty and no cut.
  • Print and photocopy your mazes for a class, a workshop, or a waiting room, with no per-copy licence.
  • Use artwork you generated with AI credits inside your own products, on the same terms as everything else you make here.
  • Use the studio in any country, on any operating system that runs a modern browser.

What you cannot do

  • Share your account access or login credentials with anyone else.
  • Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or white-label the Maze Studio application itself.
  • Redistribute the bundled asset library - the scenery, stickers, markers, motifs, and cover backdrops - as an asset pack of its own. Use them inside your products, not as the product.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the studio.
  • Resell AI credits, or generate artwork on behalf of another account.
  • Create content that violates the terms of the platforms you publish on, or any applicable law.

A note on AI artwork

Scenes, markers, silhouettes, stickers, and cover backdrops generated with your credits are yours to publish and sell inside your products. Generated images are not unique to you by nature - a similar prompt can produce a similar result for someone else - so we make no claim that any generated image is exclusive, and neither should you.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for conducting your own research before publishing or selling what you make, ensuring your products comply with the terms of the platforms you sell on (Amazon KDP, Etsy, Gumroad, Teachers Pay Teachers, and others), and verifying trademark availability for any niches, themes, or brand names you pursue.
