Maze Studio is built by Isaac Gonzalez and Katharyne Shelton. If you have used Tangent Templates to make books, browsed Smorgdashboard for niche ideas, or built an interactive PDF in Tangent Fillable Forms, you already know how we think about creative tools: simple, powerful, and genuinely joyful to use.

This one started with a complaint. Maze generators either produce one flavour of square grid and stop, or they hand you a wall of parameters and no way to see what any of them do. Neither gets you a book. We wanted something where the puzzle, the page, and the cover were all the same project, where difficulty meant a measurement rather than a label somebody typed, and where the whole thing ran in a browser tab.

So the studio carves the maze on your machine, scores it honestly, lays it out on a real trim size, and gets out of the way. The only thing we charge for is the AI artwork, because that is the only part that costs us anything to run.
